We met both parents at an on-site session when Kelli was five months pregnant. They wanted family day care, which is the most difficult care to find on one's own. They had childcare in place a month before delivery and Kelli returned to work as planned.

A parent needed after-school care, but his child's elementary school had a long wait list. Among several referrals was a family day care provider who lived four doors from the school.

We have emergency care in place when a child is sick
An employee whose child became ill during the night called the agency we had referred her to at 8:30am. A caregiver was there by 10:00am so she could be at her 11 o'clock meeting.

The Resources On Call eldercare counselor helped an employee understand all of the programs and options available for her grandmother. This enabled her to discuss with other family members the best options and to better make decisions in a potentially stressful situation.

A vice-president had relocated from Boston to Atlanta, but was "on the road" so much he didn't have time to get Georgia license plates for his car. We found him an errand service that could go to the Registry of Motor Vehicles for him - before he was stopped by the police!

An employee was on a long-term assignment in Australia and wanted to rent his condominium in California. We were able to refer him to management companies that handled corporate rentals, storage and cleaning services.

A CEO needed a physical ASAP and preferred a physician who would make house calls. We found him a medical service that would provide care at his home both for the physical and for on-going primary care.

We find financial aid resources and counseling for college
The mother of a high school junior wanted information about financial aid. We provided an overview of available scholarships and aid programs. We included sample financial aid forms, and information on finding scholarships based on career/academic interests, personal and family associations, as well as SALLIEMAE and student loan programs.
